Legislative Reform
I believe Pennsylvanian’s would welcome a constitutional convention empowered to review state government issues including, but not limited to, those addressed by the Attorney General’s Grand Jury. I, myself, have supported significant legislative reforms and have taken steps, without legislation, to lead by example such as rejecting per diems and, instead, submitting receipts for expenses. I have also rejected the cost of living increase granted to legislators this term. My hope is that, by leading on issues of reform, I can help effectuate the change needed to clean up state government and, eventually, through legislation or a constitutional convention, transform our state government so it is more efficient, less costly and more productive.
